With the addition of the Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) module, true finite scheduling is available using simulation rules based on user-defined conditions. Any rescheduling results in performance metrics and a customer order scorecard to analyze the effect and determine the "best" schedule.

To track projects, many Encompix customers’ use Microsoft Project® to setup their initial structure and measure progress. Microsoft Project is integrated with the core Encompix ERP system allowing the creation of routings directly from the MS Project plan. Production updates recorded in Encompix are posted back into MS Project ensuring that plans are always synchronized. Many organizations use MS Project as the vehicle to communicate the progress of the project with their customers
